Accelerating the energy transition with green hydrogen

Green hydrogen is key to making Dutch industry and mobility more sustainable by reducing CO₂ emissions. Success depends on integrating the entire chain, from green power and hydrogen production to transport, storage, and industrial applications. Actemium applies its expertise to develop these technologies, driving the energy transition.

Carbon capture and storage

In the Porthos project, CO₂ from industry in the port of Rotterdam is captured, transported and stored in empty gas fields under the North Sea. The Porthos system is expected to be operational in 2026. A clear step towards a climate-neutral Netherlands!
